Abstract

Cultural transformation in the age of globalization reflects the dynamic changes in cultural values, practices, and identities resulting from increased global interconnectedness. Globalization, driven by advancements in communication, technology, and economic integration, has facilitated the exchange of ideas, traditions, and lifestyles across borders. This paper examines how globalization influences cultural transformation by promoting cultural exchange, hybridization, and the spread of global cultural patterns. It also explores the challenges associated with this process, including cultural homogenization, loss of traditional values, and identity conflicts. The study highlights the role of digital platforms such as YouTube and Instagram in accelerating cultural change. It argues that globalization is a double-edged process that reshapes culture while requiring careful efforts to preserve cultural diversity and identity.
