Abstract
Chronic skin disorders such as eczema, psoriasis, acne, and dermatitis are prevalent conditions that significantly affect patients’ physical comfort, appearance, and psychological well-being. These conditions are often recurrent in nature and may require long-term management. Conventional treatments, including topical and systemic medications, provide symptomatic relief but may be associated with side effects and limited long-term efficacy. This has led to increased interest in alternative systems of medicine such as Homeopathy. The efficacy of individualized homeopathic treatment in managing chronic skin disorders through a case-based approach. Homeopathy follows the principle of “like cures like” and emphasizes individualized treatment based on the patient’s physical, emotional, and psychological characteristics. The study involves selected cases of patients diagnosed with chronic skin conditions who were treated with individualized homeopathic remedies over a defined period. Clinical parameters such as severity of symptoms, frequency of recurrence, duration of illness, and overall quality of life were assessed before and after treatment. Detailed case histories, including lifestyle factors and constitutional traits, were considered in remedy selection. The findings indicate a noticeable improvement in skin conditions, reduction in symptom severity, and decreased recurrence among patients undergoing homeopathic treatment.
