Abstract
This research paper examines mind maps as a teaching method employed by teachers to present information to learners in a clear, organized, and simplified manner. Accordingly, mind maps help learners structure their cognitive framework, ensure the coherent flow of ideas, and develop perceptual awareness of concepts. They also function as a visual educational tool that learners use to summarize information through a branching, web-like structure. This study aims to highlight their role in presenting rhetorical language activities at the secondary education level in Algeria, as they represent an important support for improving memory and comprehension, simplifying complex information, and strengthening learners’ active learning skills.
