Abstract
A crucial topic in world politics, migration presents difficult problems at the nexus of human rights and state sovereignty. the political dynamics of migration, with an emphasis on how governments strike a balance between their duties to safeguard the rights and dignity of migrants and refugees and the necessity to maintain borders and preserve sovereignty. The conflicts between restrictive immigration laws and the tenets of international human rights agreements are examined through an examination of migration policy and international frameworks. The study illustrates the political, economic, and social elements that influence migration policies and their effects on the welfare of migrants using case studies from South Asia, the United States, and Europe. The results highlight the necessity of a rights-based, collaborative approach to migration governance that promotes inclusion and humanitarianism while addressing security concerns. By offering insights into innovative policies that prioritise both national interests and individual fundamental rights, this study adds to the continuing discussions around migration.
