Abstract
Ayurveda incorporates a wealth of diagnostic procedures from its long history as one of the world's oldest holistic medical systems. Pulse diagnosis, or Nadi Pariksha, is one of the most revered and significant of these methods. the Ayurvedic pulse diagnosis method, shedding light on its background, methodology, and modern integration into holistic healthcare. Learning to read one's pulse is an integral part of Nadi Pariksha, a system that uses the body's natural rhythms to provide insight into one's psychological, emotional, and physiological health. The name of this method is Nadi Pariksha. This method combines an intricate understanding of the doshas, or life energy of the body, with information gathered over many centuries. Texts like the Sushruta Samhita and the Charaka Samhita, which date back to ancient times, may be its origins. Applying Nadi Pariksha, this article delves into how skilled practitioners interpret the pulse to identify imbalances, assess the constitution, and offer personalized remedies. Ayurveda teaches that checking a patient's pulse can reveal information about the state of their mind, body, and soul in addition to providing a diagnostic tool.
