Abstract
This study aims to shed light on the right to ask parliamentary questions, one of the most prominent oversight tools granted to Members of Parliament by the Constitution. It enables MPs to monitor the government’s work and hold it accountable for various public policies. This instrument is significant in consolidating the principle of transparency and achieving a balance between legislative and executive powers in Jordan. However, there are certain challenges that may limit the effectiveness of parliamentary questions, both procedurally and practically.
