Abstract

This study provides an in-depth exploration of algorithmic governance and legal accountability in financial regulation, focusing on the intersection of law, governance, and economic policy. As global systems become increasingly interconnected, the legal frameworks that underpin state and market interactions face new challenges. This research contextualizes the selected theme within broader historical trajectories, legal traditions, and the pressures of contemporary global issues, such as digital transformation, climate change, and social inequality.
Through a qualitative methodological approach, including document analysis, judicial review, and case study comparisons, this paper unpacks the normative frameworks that guide public institutions and private actors. It also evaluates how legislation adapts to emerging needs while balancing democratic accountability and economic pragmatism.
A key finding is the persistent tension between legal theory and practice, particularly in jurisdictions where political instability or inequality distorts legal enforcement. Moreover, this paper underscores the role of international norms and transnational legal processes in shaping domestic laws, especially in the areas of trade, labor rights, and technological innovation.
The conclusion advocates for integrative legal reform rooted in participatory governance, institutional strengthening, and enhanced transparency mechanisms. The insights generated here aim to assist scholars, lawmakers, and advocates in bridging legal gaps and advancing rights-based approaches to economic and political governance.
