Abstract

Forensic medicine is one of the most important scientific methods on which the Algerian judiciary relies to detect and analyze crimes. It also helps to determine the nature of injuries, the cause of death, and the harm resulting from assaults. This progress is attributable to technological development, which has strengthened the effectiveness of the administration of justice, particularly following the enactment of Code of Criminal Procedure No. 25-14, which regulates the discipline’s competences and procedures.
